Meet Tomika McFadden

Tomika McFadden, the Founder and CEO of Pennsylvania Care Associates, LLC (PACA) is a visionary, activist, philanthropist, and business leader.Tomika’s lifelong goal is to empower socio-economic growth and development in urban communities.

A native of West Philadelphia, Tomika McFadden is not only a powerhouse CEO, but a community activist, author and serial entrepreneur known for her unique leadership style. Her passion for empowering underserved populations across the Greater Philadelphia region is rooted in her experience growing up in poverty as a single mother raising children with special needs. Her personal testimony of faith and perseverance echoes her deep understanding of the challenges families encounter in the absence of much needed medical programs, services and assistance.

Founding PA Care Associates

After mentoring hundreds of potential entrepreneurs and helping them navigate the maze of business ownership, in 2009 she decided to celebrate those who excelled. In doing so, Tomika founded “The Success Fair “and “The Scepter Of Success Awards” which showcased small business owners, and recognized individuals who exemplified excellence in entrepreneurship respectively. During this time Tomika also created one of Philadelphia’s first retention programs which received over $1 million in funding. Additionally, as a community organizer and director, she led the development of a neighborhood plan that received $76 million in funding and has been regarded as a national model for communities across the United States.

To further PACA’s mission, Tomika expanded the agency by creating Pennsylvania Care Health & Wellness — a nonprofit organization, that promotes holistic health awareness through educating, empowering and increasing health consciousness, while connecting families to needed resources and expanding economic impact for local businesses.

Pennsylvania Care Health & Wellness is most known for its signature event The BeWhole Health Fest. The BeWhole Health Fest is the nation’s largest urban health and music festival, hosted annually at Penn’s Landing and draws over 30,000 individuals of all demographics, more than 250 retail, corporate and health vendors, and provides over 12,000 free health screenings.
